i got the opportunity to shoot one of these.... i dunno if you can own one or not because i'm not familiar with austrailian laws... but it was pretty damn cool for an air gun.... if i was ever attacked by feral watermelons i wouldn't hesitate to grab one....

In Canada, any air gun under five hundred feet per second does not require any type of Possession and Acquisition License(PAL). Needless to say we have lots of air pitols that fire at 495 per second in sporting goods stores.

I used the wrong word. Pistols are not illegal. Possession of a pistol without the appropriate licence, or where the pistol is unregistered, is illegal.

Of course, the trick is getting the thing registered and obtaining a pistol licence. They are not issued without a number of conditions.



What would be really fun is that if Freud applied for a licence, he would be rejected outright. People's social media history is scanned for any indication of anti-social, threatening or violent commentary.
