Wikipedia provides: "You Could Have Been a Lady"was written by Errol Brown and Tony Wilson of the British soul band Hot Chocolate in 1969. While originally released by Hot Chocolate in 1971, the song is well-known for the 1972 cover version by the Canadian rock band April Wine."

With that in mind, let me just that April Wine is hands-down one of the most superb rock bands to ever hit the scene.  And they're still in business even though Miles Goodwin passed in 2023:

Here is the original:

Miles and the boys were pretty fair musicians but they were not good song writers.

According to Wikipedia, " The Reverend Horton Heat is the stage name of American musician James C. Heath (born 1959) as well as the name of his psychobilly trio from Dallas. Heath is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. A reviewer for the magazine Prick called Heath the "godfather of modern rockabilly and psychobilly."  I'm not a regular listener, but I've heard enough over the years to know he can damn sure tear it up.  Although I would've never expected it, this is a righteous cover of the Motörhead classic:

Amen.
