What makes it creamy?

Milk, butter and flour. Just a simple béchamel.

The sausage gravy is basically the same thing, just tastes better with the spices and fats from the sausage.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

On a side note, my boy chowed through both cinnamon donuts I brought him and kept asking for more. "Give me" and "donut" is what he says.... like the Cookie Monster.... Had fried pork chops, corn, green beans, mashed taters and gravy, pinto beans, and a biscuit with apple butter  :smiley_thumbs_up_yellow_ani:
