And even after serious strategic mistakes, they still had half of their troops left.
I agree. Watching the battle was cool visually but it was a but cringy for how  they fought it. Also Seven seasons of building up this fight and even two episodes this season of pre fight, and its over in one battle cause little arya stabbed one white walker.

I also think its a bit anticlimactic that in the LAST battle they are fighting cersei, instead of white walkers and zombie dragons.

I suppose even the best shows have problems, though it may have some faults, its still great tv.

Told you so.. But it's no accident... it's deliberate. By BOTH parties. If you're dumb enough to buy the accident story then I've got a great ocean view block of land in Antarctica for sale.

Show us the proof that money changed hands between Starbucks and GOT, or else go back to your favorite sport of guessing alts incorrectly.

Slip ups in movies and shows occur all the time.  I'm pretty sure Game of Thrones and all its producers, stars, directors etc were embarrassed by that error.  I, for one, don't believe at all that it was intentional.

The night king was supposed to have a real mission.. Like, after 8000 years, why has he awaken now..

I was expecting a battle for Winterfell but our heroes getting defeated.

Some of them survive and fall back towards kings landing where they join forces with Cersei..

The grand final battle against white walkers happens in kings landing... And Cersei gets killed in the aftermath.

does it matter that you quoted an attempt to quantify the value of said publicity?

Also, does it matter that the cup wasn't a Starbuck's cup?

Gets kind of difficult to be very positive about any of it, dearie.

I called it BEFORE any media suggestion about free publicity was published... and you poo-hoo'd it...

The fact is, I was right and you were... WRONG.

I like that Odie.  maybe they should have gone with that

Before the season started what I was expecting to happen was somewhere between the two.  I thought circei and the starks etc. would unite and fight the white walker crew, then when they won I thought circei would turn on the starks etc, and she would be killed in a more quick battle..

The second to last episode tonight.   I'm going to miss it when its over   BUT the good news is a spinoff is planned ac_dance -- some details--

QuoteHBO has ordered a pilot for a GoT prequel, but it won't directly overlap with any of the events in the A Song of Ice and Fire storyline we know. According to the network, this is what series will be about:

Deadline reports the prequel will likely start production in 2019; a director for the pilot has already been chosen and the cast is slowly growing. Initially, HBO commissioned five different ideas for a Game of Thrones prequel or spin-off, but it looks like there will just be one, for now.

Here's what we know about the Game of Thrones prequel so far.

It will take place thousands of years before the Game of Thrones story we know.

"Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world's descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. From the horrifying secrets of Westeros's history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend, only one thing is for sure: It's not the story we think we know."

There is no release date or timeline set for the project yet.

These are miserable times indeed. As though losing Rick Grimes is bad enough, now this. I need some intervention.  :icon_wink:

Almost a year ago I was listening to the "plot leaks" and they described a battle against the night king down south.

Cersei is at best a side-baddie..
