So why do countries like America, Brazil, Honduras and Libya make it easier to kill people?

Enforcing them is another.



Nobody is arguing that MURDER or serious assaults can be eradicated. Human societies are inherently violent to some degree. So why do countries like America, Brazil, Honduras and Libya make it easier to kill people?



There is no rational argument that I have seen proffered here or anywhere else that justifies a nation filling itself with firearms.

It doesn't look like Brazil is doing anything, but make it more difficult to own firearms. How is that working for them.

If Brazil is making it MORE difficult, why is the gun related death rate going up? Brazil is doing nothing to reduce firearm related violence.



It seems that if only the people in the barios are getting whacked, its OK. Less criminals to worry about.

Yes. It is. Got a bit carried away as it was the "gunless" Oz we have heard so much about
