I've really liked it so far, cant put it down, reminds me of Stephen King. I've liked Barker's imagination in films, but this is beyond what the films can do. I've heard he gets his ideas from his dreams, I wish I could record my dreams because I dream some good shit too

Damn, this one was a good ride lol. Didnt take much time at all to read those 700 pages. I think I had only read one other Barker book long ago, but dont remember the name, but remember it was crazy too.

A vast world that serves as the backdrop and the ground for an epic story about three individuals (who love each other in ways they probably shouldn't) caught up in a sinister web of cosmic proportions.



I spent a couple of decades following my readings of Imajica trying to illustrate some of the characters found inside its pages but my mind's eye fails me every time and I can picture those players no better than Barker, also an illustrator, can himself.



I recommend the one-volume trade paperback edition with illustrations by the author.
