It did go by quickly, but was still nice to have some down time.

How much time do you get off for Christmas and New Year?



My last work day is December 14 and I return to work January 3,

Thanks for reminding me  



"Usually" we get a half day off on Christmas Eve after being fed, but since it falls on a Monday, its hard to say. We'll have off Christmas at least. If I had to guess, we'll be off Saturday through Tuesday. I think New Year is permanent off time.

I've nothing against the Yanks & I wish them well.



And yet I don't love them either.



Its not my country right or wrong.

And of course, every American citizen is permitted...nay, expected to own a firearm. The more dangerous and lethal the better. This requirement is, of course, to enable to defend themselves from other Americans that own dangerous and lethal firearms. Its a perfect system of demand and supply which in turn funds politicians so they can stay in office. No other nation has such a unique method of governance.



America has also solved the looming overpopulation crisis confronting the world, both with the abovementioned gun policy, and also by feeding its inhabitants with cheap, fatty foods so they achieve a level of morbid obesity that will cause early death and population decline.



Yes, you will ask, who then will harvest the fields, build the cars and drive the cabs?



Easy. Thousands of Guatemalans. They're arriving even as we speak.
