lol.... well.... personally, i'd look at my situation a little closer than 'a team of scientists told me so' if i were you.... or don't.... no denim off my seat cushion either way.... good luck, woodchuck....

Bricktop

Well, my problem is that I have no specialised training, education or insight that would lead me to deny scientifically established facts.

That does not mean I am not skeptical, and on occasion refute claims made by educated idiots. Human induced climate change for example, is NOT an established scientific fact because not all scientists agree.

Sociologists claim immigration is GOOD for a host nation, and there is ample truth to the contrary.

Of course, I never accept what I see and read in the modern media. Journalists are far from qualified to opine on most of the issues they pontificate about.

deadskinmask

first of all, i'd be careful with using that word 'facts'.... take gravity for example.... despite it being a scientific 'law', where has it been proven? ever.... it hasn't.... but its an absolute necessity for 'living on a ball'.... otherwise its just a theory.... and do you know what scientists say about any other theory? if the tests don't support the theory then the theory is wrong.... but that wouldn't work for gravity.... they had to have gravity by any means.... so they continued to fudge numbers and add neat little exceptions till they could make gravity a possibility.... same with 'evolution' too.... and the big bang??? lol. you need to look alot harder at your life....

Bricktop

Which I'm happy to do.

Would you mind providing the source of your hypothesis that gravity does not in fact exist?

deadskinmask

provide proof that gravity doesn't exist? first of all.... nobody has proven it does exist.... all tests have been inconclusive.... secondly - i'm not using it.... but feel free to have mine if you want....

Bricktop

Er...yes, they have.

"In 1687, English mathematician Sir Isaac Newton published Principia, which hypothesizes the inverse-square law of universal gravitation. In his own words, "I deduced that the forces which keep the planets in their orbs must [be] reciprocally as the squares of their distances from the centers about which they revolve: and thereby compared the force requisite to keep the Moon in her Orb with the force of gravity at the surface of the Earth; and found them answer pretty nearly."[11] The equation is the following:

Einstein theory of relativity made some slight adjustments to Newton's law.

Newton's law was a fundamental plank for the development of navigational tools that enabled ships to circumnavigate the globe. If the earth was flat, as some claim, the law would have been ineffective, meaning that ships and aircraft would consistently disappear, having become lost. If you have, like I, visited the Greenwich observatory and planetarium, you would see much of the equipment, notes and revelations that led to the world becoming navigable. Even Newton's quarters remain as a reminder of how important he was to the Greenwich research scientists devising latitudes and longtitudes...which, as you would perhaps know, cannot apply to a disc.

deadskinmask

gyroscopes and compasses and sextants would not work on a globe.... especially a fuckin gyroscope.... do all the mental gymnastics you need to.... not a problem.... keep your ball. i don't care.... but eventually you'll see....

deadskinmask

and again - flat earth/round earth is of no real importance.... find Jesus and have a good life....

I didn't know he was missing.

What does he look like?

Frood

A small Columbian blind man in a white frock and sandals being led by a donkey laden with coffee beans, frankincense, and edible butt plugs.
Blahhhhhh...

Bricktop

Mmm...shouldn't be hard to spot in a big city, then.

Not many donkeys around.

i do.... and they were.... no complications. no complaints.... but i fully support a parents right to decide.... especially when its autism and infertility at stake.... mandatory vaccines are not ethical....
