SURREY, B.C. — A pair of young men wanted by police in three murders in northern British Columbia travelled through northern Saskatchewan and may recently have been in northern Manitoba, say RCMP.

Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, are suspects in the deaths of Australian Lucas Fowler and his American girlfriend Chynna Deese, as well as an unidentified man.

Saskatchewan RCMP on Tuesday said the pair were seen Sunday in Meadow Lake, approximately 300 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon. B.C. RCMP earlier in the day said McLeod and Schmegelsky had been seen in northern Saskatchewan driving a grey 2011 Toyota Rav4.

"All of our Saskatchewan RCMP officers are on the lookout for the suspects and continue to support this investigation," RCMP said in a statement, while noting investigators believed the two had continued travelling.

The two "are considered armed and extremely dangerous," Saskatchewan RCMP said, adding that anyone who spots them should not approach the pair and instead should call 911.

The teens, both from Port Alberni, B.C., are 6-foot-4 and weigh around 169 pounds. McLeod has dark brown hair, facial hair and brown eyes, while Schmegelsky has sandy brown hair.

When they are finally detained, just put them in a container and send them to Australia.
