Ya, some traffic was lost when I moved to my own server after I told Vesna to stuff it when she wanted to load my sub up with ads, which had no benefits to the sub whatsoever.  If she would've just kept her god damned nose away from the sub, it would've worked better for everyone.  She would've still gotten the extra traffic regardless, but she doesn't think logically like that and thought I'd just bend over and let her tell me what to do.



There were more posters there than one would think...  Even the Real Woman popped in occasionally.

I have looked, it is dead. Not even Mel seems interested in it. This place has wide open guest posting. There is no point in his dead forum anymore.

Part of the problem is that I just don't have the time right now to play around on forums...  This new house requires tons of work to get into proper order, so I am trying to get things slowly taken care of, but what a chore...  An expensive chore.

However, at least we can look at things this way:  If I hadn't set up the sub as Guest only posting, it is probably unlikely your sub here would've went this route too!  I know there was Guest posting here in the past, but that was all 'moderator approved' posting, which is nowhere near the same!

Exactly.  While it may look like I'm neglecting my forum, which I sort of am, I'd rather neglect that neglect my current kitchen reno which is about halfway done!  



Anyone who would see the disarray that surrounds me in this house would understand why I must prioritize certain things...

I was very lucky that the community was more respectful than I ever thought they would be!  Since I was the only Mod there, it would've been very easy for posters to make my life a living hell there, but they didn't.

I didn't really have much of a problem with that either.  A couple of PI 'hints' here and there, but I turned a blind eye to that.  Full names and addresses I would've wiped, but it never came to that...

What I was concerned about is posting pictures of poster's children, and spouses.
