Quote from: "Berry Sweet"That's a lot of drama.

It consumed most of the posts for a month or so at both SG and here.

If only it were limited to just SG and here.  :pop:

Quote from: "Berry Sweet"I know a lot of people who live where Mel lives...it is not completely white there anymore, so I dunno what he's talking about when he says it's all white.

You don't know where I live now, since I haven't told you that, but I can assure you it's pretty much all White around here!

Quote from: "Fashionista"lol, the Kootenays are predominantly Caucasian

Correct.  And we'd like to keep it that way, thank you very much!

We don't mind you passing through, though, for your weekend trips and whatnot!

Quote from: "Berry Sweet"Fuckin, what?  For real?

It's true.  Low class trash, both of them.

As far as finding other work, my Ex is a healthcare worker, and must maintain, in good standing, her registry number while working for any publicly funded facility (which is almost all of them).  If she ever got stripped of her reggie, her only hope would be to find work in some undesirable segment of the industry (which do exist).

Dove is as dumb as they come, and I called her out on this forum years ago for her stupidity.

She, above all, should know about patient/resident/client confidentiality and privacy when working in such a setting, as those rules should have been explained to her.

What Martini did was not right (snitching), the Bible Thumping baby-machine junky should've also remembered her basic training that would have been taught to her in school.

Quote from: "Berry Sweet"At 7pm people honk their horns or bang on pots to thank / support the front line workers.

Front line workers are actually asking people to stop making noise, since many of them work shifts all around the clock, and may be in fact sleeping at 19:00.

The best thing to do, to honour these frontline workers if you want to, is to make sure they are treated fairly while they continue working.

Trucking is one example...  They break EVERY labour law in the book, right until the very second I post this.  NO overtime pay, even though it is MANDATED.  NO Holiday Pay, even though it is MANDATED, and a TON of other labour laws that aren't adhered to by the company, with a "Quit if you don't like it" mentality.

The guys that deliver your toilet paper, and everything else you consume would probably be happy if our Government didn't allow them to be paid and treated worse than a new employee emptying trash part-time at McDonald's...

You bought the property you posted a while back, right? I know that area, I use to be a local.  I know where you live.

I've  been to the top of those mountains you see out your window...and I've  tubed down that river across from you many times.

Berry Sweet

Chances are, I've probably had a beer in your home or yard at some point.  I told you not to buy that house cause it would be nothing but problems, but you bought it anyway

If you've lived here, but now you live in the GVRD, you can tell me where you once lived here, I will honestly tell you how I close I live now, to where you once lived!

Deal?

Just name the town or area.  I don't need a home address, Berry!

Berry Sweet

Not far from you.  You are close to the co-op.  And the gas station/ mechanic at the time, would rent tubes in the summer.  But we had our own.

You will have to do more, to prove to me that you've lived in the area.

I will need names, and locations.

The Real Woman claims to live in Nelson also, but actually does not...

If you drive north it's fun, beautiful....you will eventually see the big nipple, stop in winlaw.. for some food and doobie.

You know the bridge by the Shell gas station in Crescent Valley...I googled and apparently it's an Esso now....anyhow that bridge did not go thru straight at one point...you had to slow down quite a bit cause it was a sharp s curve.  There's  also Crescent Beach right there, pretty popular in the summer.

There use to be a local and organic market across the street...I stopped there quite a bit...I don't  think its  there anymore?  And there's also "heartbreak hotel", the apartments next door.  If you keep driving you get to the junction, there should be a bank there...at one point there was a subway and make your own booze joint.  Take a left at the lights and drive for maybe 3 min, you get to the Dam Inn...have a beer and some bar food....if you keep going...you will hit Nelson.  I use to work there.

Berry Sweet

RW was from Castlegar., that town is the other way.   Castlegar is a boring drive but seeing the damn is cool if you go left in continue on to Ootischenia...there is air port over there.

Did you live there Berry or just spend parts of your summers there?
