I like the Guess Who too. Unlike Triumph, they did reach the big time. I like BTO that grew out of the Guess Who and I like solo Burton Cummings. Old Jock said he graduated from the same high school in Winnipeg that Burton Cummings attended.

As for overrated rock stars, we haven't mentioned one of the most obvious. Ozzy is not a great singer, he can't play any instruments and he didn't even write any songs. That Jew broad he is married to made him more famous and richer than he deserves to be.

6. Stan Ridgeway. Former Wall of Voodoo leader who's quirky style combines country with rock and a touch of blues.



7. Arthur Lee and Love. Early psychedelic pioneers who's songs sound even better today.



8. The Zombies. Only one album before they broke up, that has recently been reconsidered as a 60's pop masterpiece. Gave rise to Alan Parsons Project and Argent.



9. The Kinks. Long before punk and metal, the Kinks were pounding out hard rock songs that inspired many of their peers.

I agree with one, four, six, eight and nine. Janis Joplin is the greatest female vocalist of all time. Annie Lennox is good too, but I don't like her style.
