Gabriele Kerner is a German singer known as Nena. This song came out originally in German, but an English version was released. I read that the band was unhappy with the English version because it was not a literal translation. They did not want to be seen as a protest band.  Regardless, Nena is the biggest selling German artist of all time. I prefer the German version more, although I can't understand a word she's singin'.  Here are both versions:

Amen.

Slade, led by Noddy Holder, was one of the biggest selling artists in Britain. And their musical influence spread far beyond Limey Land. This video is a hoot to watch:

They say Slade were the original glam rockers. I don't consider Noddy and the boys glam rockers at all.

Jon Butcher hails from Boston. He's had a long career and appears to still be active. This fine number is from 1984:

Especially if you're a fan of Boston, you should like this. Former Boston lead vocalist Brad Delp was in Orion the Hunter. Sadly, he committed suicide in 2007:

The name of the band sounded familiar, but I have no recollection of ever hearing any of their stuff. I looked 'em up and they're still in business.  The "Y&T" stands for "Yesterday and Today."

I got to see them in concert at The Pomona Valley Auditorium (California) back in 1986. It was a 1 screen theater turned into a small concert venue. The front half of the seating was removed for a mosh pit/dance floor. It was fuckin EPIC!!!!

I first heard Rebel Yell watching it on a video. I bought the CD right away.  Steve Stevens is a superb guitarist. It's still some seriously good rock:
