I like The Pretenders, which, for all intents and purposes means I like Chrissie Hynde.  This is one of my favorites. It's worth mentioning that this video has guitarist James Honeyman-Scott and bassist Pete Farndon in it. Sadly, James died not long afterward at the age of 25 of heart failure due to cocaine intolerance. Likewise, after being dismissed from the band due to drug problems, Pete died at the age of 30 from a heroin overdose.

I dropped more than that! Pac Man sucked though.  I like Zaxxon and Defender.

I, too, dropped buckets o' quarters in arcades and bars back in the day, but I blew most of mine on pinball and foosball.  I actually won a pinball tournament and me and a buddy o' mine won a coupla foosball tournaments.

I say those jillions o' quarters were tuition for very essential life skills.  That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.  :yeahhh:

Some people that know me say this song reminds them of me. :yeahhh:

I just read that Brian Setzer is no longer able to play guitar, due to an autoimmune disorder. That is really sad. He was a guitar-pickin' fool. This is one of my favorites by his band The Stray Cats:

I was motivated to post this in light of the posting of Wendy O. Williams' duet with Motörhead. Frankly, she was one of those artists I would enjoy seeing live, but would unlikely appear on any of my playlists. Sadly, after failing to kill herself on two previous occasions, she succeeded at the age of 48 with a bullet to her head.

This is one of her more interesting tunes recorded with her band The Plasmatics:
