Just went and picked up our Christmas tamales. Hot pork, hot beef and chicken. Can't wait till tomorrow night. Tamales, rice, beans, chili con queso, pico de gallo. T'will be a feast.

The tamale place makes a fortune this time of year. Took me 30 mins to get through the line to pick up our order. Damn walk in line was moving faster than the pre-ordered line. Then had to stand in another line after I paid to get them. I figure they will sell 30 grand worth today and tomorrow. With tax they worked out to $12.09 a dozen.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

But, Mexican food is not something you will see very often in my house.

Pretty much a tradition in a lot of Texas homes. Some on Christmas eve, some on Christmas day. We will be done with family Christmas eve, so it will be leftover tamales for Christmas day.
