Do you mean grilled cheese?

I was too lazy to make one grilled cheese and have a pan to clean lol, so I made toasted cheese, its just a slice of bread with a piece of cheese on top and baked in the oven for a few minutes. Loved those as a kid.
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

So, a grilled cheese has to be fried in a pan?

If you bake it in an oven, it's toasted cheese?

To me grilled cheese is a piece of cheese in between 2 slices of bread and fried in butter in a pan. Toasted cheese is a slice of cheese on top of 1 slice of bread toasted in the oven  ac_smile

Tonight I had mango chutney salmon and an Asian veggie steamer.

Lol, that sounds interesting. Like white bread? My son use to like taking flour tortillas and melting cheddar in between them, or folded over.

Do you not like mustard, or does the whole concoction gross you out lol?

I never buy regular white bread, so he doesn't use that for his oven cheese..

I don't mind mustard, but I'm not crazy about sandwiches, so combining the two...no thanks.

Sammiches gross you out? I've never heard that one before. I eat 'em 5 days a week at work. Usually turkey sammiches, but this week its bologna and mustard, budget lol.

As far as bread I get Eureeka brand Saaaaaa-wheat kind

Tonight is just a couple hot pockets, budget.

Sandwiches don't gross me out, I just don't like them very much, especially on white bread..

I occasionally have a half a Panini..

My husband is European and he likes bread, good quality bread that you don't get from factory bakeries.
