The sign on the door says "The Blue Cashew". That was a deliberate move to separate from the old ACC raison d'etre...to denote that the forum was not about Asian Canadians, Asians...or even Canadians.



Its a multicultural forum.



But it seems old habits die hard. Which is fine. Apparently Van fails to provide enough of a platform to discuss all things Canadian, so by all means, let's change the name to The Blue Canadian.

I have attempted many times, as you know, to start threads that are non-political, non cultural and all inclusive.



Please don't lay that on me.



Its becoming clear that Canadians just want to be Canadians...and that's OK. I thought this place was not going to be a carbon copy of Van...where the Canadian theme is part of its DNA, and so is perfectly reasonable to expect. It may as well have retained the old name...its a Canadian forum.



So, let's not pretend otherwise and move on.
