Comparing a little boy praying with Santa to a brainwash child soldier is about the dumbest thing you have ever said and that's saying something.

I swear there are times when you absolutely nauseate me.

An early Xmas gift to me, then.

Rather than attack the player, why not prove me wrong?

If that was a muslim kid of 4, asking his imam for the head of an infidel, how would you feel then?

The American child is asking for salvation for a baby he ahsn't met, clearly and manifestly "programmed" by his handlers to do so. To American values, this is a charming and heartwarming gesture, despite its obvious exploitation.

To a muslim, killing infidels is a part of the survival and protection of their land and way of life. A child praying for the protection of his home by seeking the killing of one that threatens it would be seen as charming and heartwarming.

We are, of course, reviled at that concept, yet it is all a matter of perpsective.

The principle of forcing belief systems on young children to perpetuate lies, myths and deceit is abhorrent.

In any culture.

Puke your heart out.

How can you make a comparison like that?

That's secular socialist programming in action. A significant number of atheists in this world behave like a militant cult. They see religion as evil and exposing children to any form of it, no matter how limited, as a form of abuse. Remember how loony evs comment about abuse and sending your children to religious private school was?  Well Crowley's assumptions in this case are about just as nutty.

This also play's right in with his teenage angst regarding the US. To a furious anti-American idiot like him, a child praying is symptomatic of the social decay in America and as you know our arrogant foaming at the mouth Aussie will never pass up an opportunity to bash the US.

I'm use to this incorrect assumption.

Well I'm not. I find it offensive because it makes the assumption that small children are stupid and have no intellectual curiosity and that they content to just play with teddy bears and alphabet blocks.
and reading planned parenthood books about masturbation and anal sex (it's perfectly normal). Yanno, heslthy, non brainwashing things.

Okay asshole, where did I bring up sex ed?  I won't hold my breath. If you want to have some venomous tantrum over being religiously sexually oppressed go take it up with the people responsible because I'm  over trying to reason with you.  YOU have no clue.  Maybe look up what it is I'm talking about before turning into such an insufferable insulting blow hard. Communication might be easier that way. Smh.  And btw, who masturbates and freaks out?  No one. You didnt, I didnt. No one did. People have been successfully getting themselves off for thousands of years without their elementary school teacher humiliating everyone with a class on it. No ten year old kid is going to be comfortable having thier teacher describe masturbation to them right there in front of thier peers. Its embarrasing and awkward at that age. In fact, if you see a need for a class on how to fuck yourself....YOU should be the first in line. Learn how to fuck yourself hard enough and often enough where you can handle the fact that not everyone agrees with you. You did NOT counter my point. You compleyely ignored my point and created a debate in your head that im not even talking about.   This is the last post to you on this I'm posting until you take the time to actually fucking listen to what I'm saying.  Done.

This book is actually banned in prisons because the sexually explicite illustrations and descriptions of different sex acts is "too pornographic" for inmates.  But it's part of a common core curriculum being pushed in schools for kids ten years old and up.

RW

That article doesn't say it's common core for sex ed.  It doesn't say it's banned in prisons.  In fact, it says that books get banned for ridiculous reasons in the US.  Given that it is one of the most banned books in America and they don't even allow Captain Undrpants in schools, I'm going to say this book is NOT a part of the sexual health curriculum.  It is in some school LIBRARIES though.

Atheists have this delusion that anyone who is religious is brainwashed. They are unable to accept and respect anything outside of the secular world view.  They always go to these borderline insane delusions of Christian militancy when it comes to parents raising kids in Christian homes.  They'd rather our kinder age kids be doing more secular things. Like playing with plastic prostitutes(Bratz dolls), getting programmed by disney, and reading planned parenthood books about masturbation and anal sex (it's perfectly normal). Yanno, heslthy, non brainwashing things.

Sorry Dove, but I'll go toe to toe with you on the detriment of religion on sexuality, specifically as it pertains to kids any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Based on guilt catholic dogma that isn't biblical and is known for sexual abuse.  God made sex.  I was way more twisted sexually by the world than by religion. There is a balance, and teaching kids to think of sex as bad and dirty is bad just wrong oversexualizing them.  You have orgasm because God made the body to have them. You can't go toe to toe with me from some catholic standpoint.  It's not my position. You can try, of course....but I have the only 2 girls in the school who aren't boycrazy or trying to wear make up. Sex is an act of love that's more than physical, despite the secular view that we should rut like pigs as if it's a handshake and advertise our bodies. 12 year old girls don't need padded bras, or socks that say "flirt", or dolls dressed like they are about to do a stage set at the local strip club.

I just don't see anything wrong with books about masturbation or knowing anal sex is okay for consenting adults who take proper pre-cautions or knowing their reproductive options.  I don't give a flying fuck about padded bras, words on socks or dolls that look like strippers.  I care that my kids have an open relationship with me where they can discuss decal issues and they aren't ignorant of their sexual selfs or choices.

I have also seen many Christian parents pull their kids from sex ed classes.
I don't either. Until you pass out material about it to 5th graders in school, thusly overstepping your  boundaries in a public classroom with other people's kids. I do have my children's trust and we talk about these things. That doesn't make it okay for the school to come in and get graphic.   Why does a child need a padded bra?  They dont. It's totally innapropriate and over sexualizing kids.  Alot of people feel that way.

Here's the part where I said Christain parents pull kids from sex Ed classes to make a point about religious detriment.  Here's where you continue the conversation about sex ed, so don't play me like I pulled your comments about sex ed out of my ass.

Nice try.

It's also not uncommon for boys to experience worry the first time they ejaculate.  Telling a kid that's normal isn't a bad thing.  Girls break their hymens while masturbating and freak out.

Again, this is what I'm talking about when I mention being clueless.

Will kids be fine without knowing these facts?  Sure.  I just prefer my kids understand the anatomy and physiology of their bodies.  But hey, that's me.  If you prefer to keep your kids in the dark, that's your prerogative.

I did!  And apparently so did all the people in the US insisting it be banned for potty words and fart humour.

Yeah, because it's not in the slightest bit ignorant to encourage children to read books full of fart jokes and toilet humor and it's perfectly acceptable to use tax dollars to provide librarys and schools with shit like that. :oeudC:

I would like to ask, "what the fuck is wrong with you people"? But I already know the answer and its not worth discussing.

Why would anyone put out a book about farts and toilet humor? Isn't that's what family is for?  :confused1:

I spent years running book fairs and the Captain Underpants series was one of the best sellers.  I imagine it's in school libraries because it's a popular fictional series amoung male youth.  I would imagine tax dollars are well spent when they promote literacy.  Literacy is promoted through books children like to read like Captain U.  Another fact is that reading proficiency is the number one determinant of high school graduation rates so kids should read read read their little eyes out.

I digress though.  What "you people" ban in your libraries isn't nearly as significant at the promotion of ignorance by clueless/religious/misinformed/uneducated parents on matters of sexual education.  Ignorance breeds curiousity.  Ignorance increases children's chances of being molested and teens' chances of being raped or contracting diseases.  This isn't poopoo, peepee, farty pants stuff.  This is something that can have a profound impact on a child's life FOREVER.

Get smart about this stuff people.  You owe that much to your kids regardless of if you love Jesus or not.

I have absolutely no objections to sex ed. I'm glad my boys had them in high school. They had me to teach them things too because I wanted them to be aware of things that may not have been covered in the class.

They're finding high school is too late for that kind of thing.  Kids are hitting puberty at 9 and 10, 11 and 12 year olds are having sex.  Children are being exploited and abused.

Teaching kids the anatomical basics at an earlier age decreases their chances of being sexually abused.  It also makes it A LOT easier to talk to them when they are teenagers.
Beware of Gaslighters!

@realAzhyaAryola

If I recall correctly, they had this also in middle school. I can't remember exactly when my adult son had his class and now my 17 year old had it years ago. Anyway, no matter what they were told in that class, I had lessons to teach them too.
