But, more likely if any of the emergency response government departments experience any problem coordinating FEMA efforts he'll be blamed as Bush was in 2005's Hurricane Katrina..

Texas doesn't have a major city on the coast that is 1-2 feet below sea level and fills up when a levee fails...LOL  Texans will take care of things. Like I said, not our first rodeo.

Trees along the coast are used to high winds and storms. These are leading trees on a bluff in Rockport/Fulton Tx that the storm was centered on.

I've been to Houston  many times for work. The city itself is nothing, but it's close to  the gulf and it's fucking nice.

Exactly....One of the oldest trees in Texas is in the area. Hopefully it survived. It is state maintained so I hope they tied it down. Over 1,000 years old. It has trees between it and the water so the wind has not affected it as much.

I hope all the collectibles were kept in a good safe place.
