Ryan Lochte and the other three swimmers may have made up the story about being robbed.

What a stupid thing for them to do. Swimmers don't usually make their money from competing. Good luck getting any endorsements even if they win golds.

I saw the video. It does not look good for the American swimmers.

Canada qualified for 4 x 100 relay while resting De Grasse

Final 4 x 100 m mens relay will be at 6.35 pm tonight

De Grasse, resting during qualifying, will of course run 4th leg against Bolt for

4th. Our upcoming lad and anchor gained back about 15 ft once he got the baton and missed 2nd &  .004 sec and 3rd by .002

Consistently a powerful finisher - once he gets the fast start figured he will be hard to come close to

Bolt was Bolt, the best there is .... now

Next olympics, watch for the kid De Grasse to be ready to put on Bolt's boots and lead the world in 100 and 200

I'd be on him for the next Worlds Championship and by Olympic time he will be flying

The relay is not any one person's thing but Canada's team is young and good as evidenced yesterday

Seems his poor starting ability is the only thing holding him and he will of course perfect that - he is already the best finisher in the world, and dramatically so  post Bolt

Between Texas residents and Texas college students....
QuoteIf Texas was its own country - which, let's be honest, to many of us, it is - it would rank eighth in the 2016 Olympics medal count with 41 total medals.

That means the Lone Star State by itself has more medals than all of Canada (22). Countries like Australia (29), Italy (27) and Spain (17) don't want to get into any kind of medal-counting contest with Texas, either. Oh, and host country Brazil (18)? Thanks for all your medals.

The 26 gold medals from athletes with Texas ties would rank third, only behind the United States (44) and Great Britain (27).

With the likes of Simone Biles, Simone Manuel, Kerron Clement, DeAndre Jordan, Jimmy Butler, Brittney Griner and Sarah Robles all hailing from Houston, a lot of countries wouldn't want to deal with H-Town's medal count of 10 golds, two silvers and two bronzes.

The University of Texas had a nice medal haul as well with nine golds, a silver and two bronzes. Longhorns grabbed five gold medals in swimming and three more in track and field.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone
