Dunno yet. Does seem this guy went berserk. Several sources say the other cop was totally stunned when and that the guy shot .. but there is little official yet.



We will get more on it as investigation plays out of course.



From what little we do know, it does appear bizarre that he would have even thought about shooting

Here's the deal:



Somalis are very numerous in  Minneapolis and crime is high



Mo was 1st Somali cop in precinct, mayor etc. made big thing of it - made him into a cause celeb 2 years ago when he started



Mo has 3 complaints on him since then, this makes it 4 (one was dropped - 3 now active) ... one became a major lawsuit on last Friday



No matter if he did wrong or not, they will do their best to keep their "pet diversity trophy" from making it look bad for their vital crown jewel of diversity



Noor did not activate his body camera – as required by the department in all use-of-force scenarios – and his patrol car's dashcam did not capture the pivotal moments, either. Unlike most states where cams are on all the time, here they are supposed to be turned on by the officers in all use-of-force scenarios

This investigation has been taken over by the " Minnesota Department of Public Safety"



Thus, the city and police force will have no further  details to give out and even they are dependent on  the state agency for further details delivered formally.



Big Brother has it now, so don't expect details to be swift nor necessarily forthcoming if facts are "uncomfortable"
