I'd like to know, Are you lucky?

Do good things happen in your life?

Do bad things happen in your life?

Do you enter contests?

Do you buy lottery tickets?

I don't gamble at all Superchecker..

Like my most people my life has had it's share of ups and downs..

As an immigrant, my life experiences reflect that of most first generation Canadians..

I try to stay positive and be thankful for what I have..

But, I'm only human..

Losing a daughter was devastating..

If you add up all the setbacks in my life it pales in comparison to losing my child.

Superchecker

I can't even imagine losing a child.  Hugs!

She'd be fourteen if she was alive today.

Good luck. Wife, son, grand daughter. Lottery, nothing major, the biggest was $3,000.00. The rest were $500.00 or less. Things happen when they happen and not much you can do about it. Family is the best luck of them all.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

Definitely good luck. Not so much with lottery tickets, but I do pretty good on my stocks.

I have a provincial government employee pension; and also contribute every payday to RRSP's/mutual funds...

I knew you would have a defined benefit pension plan. I don't recommend mutual funds, but if you are happy with them, I'm happy for you.

So, you don't invest in stocks personally? It's through the fund management.

I have been buying various kinds all over the world. I won five grand US once. Other than that, a hundred bucks or free plays only.

Twenty Dollars

Having enough $$$$ after you turn 50 is key to the rest of your life. Mostly has to do with hard work, although nothing wrong with being lucky. Bad luck would be worrying about it when it's too late.

I feel pretty luckly about getting that provincial pension. I know many who won't be getting that. A buddy of mine, and my brother both make great $$$, but no pension plan.
