At the end of the day, its not even a collectors item.

Exactly.  I personally think it's almost technically a Ponzi scheme.

However, the risk I take, will hopefully reward me!

Right now there's a dip in price.  I'd buy more right now, but I have to wait until after midnight to add more funds, since I reached my daily funding limit!

Almost... It has no fraud company behind it..

No1 needs bitcoin..

It has no tangible value..

Some1 could whisper away its value.

Neither does fiat.

Fiat has even less tangible value when you consider the power to print more into circulation.
Blahhhhhh...

Anything is only worth what people are willing to pay for it, generally speaking.

My investment in bitcoin was a calculated risk.  Sure, it could go either way, but most investments do.

However, you know what bitcoin won't do?  Leave me with nothing, as my Petrowest shares did.  Luckily I only had a couple grand invested in those shares, but I am left now with essentially nothing, and that will not change, as Petrowest went kaput.

Bitcoin cannot go kaput in the same way...  It may lose value, but won't disappear.

I have achieved my goal.  To own one coin...

This has come to me at great financial risk.  However, the rewards could also outpace much of my other investments, and although I am not often a risk taker, I have made an exception in this case.

How many kwans did you own, Dinky, before you sold them?

I'm serious here...  How many did you accumulate?

I don't discuss specifics of personal finances or investments online, Mel.
Blahhhhhh...

Angry White Male

I'm fucking serious here...  How many did you accumulate, 'back in tha day?'

Angry White Male

I'll give you the answer:  "More than you wished you'd have ever sold."

Until they went to $100, or $1,000, right?

I am an investor.  I seek opportunities that may not make me rich overnight, but I want somewhat solid returns at times, while a little risk involved is fine here and there.

Not telling, Mel. You should give up. I can't be forced or tricked.  :pop:
