Whilst I hold no pity for white South Africans for the way they treated the indigenous people, and the profits they took from cheap black labour, I believe we should open our doors to them. The people who began the era of white colonialisation and apartheid are dead. But those who are alive will bear their burden of guilt, and face retribution. They need to leave.

I think culpability in SA is a fairly complicated matter, some things to think about



1. Apartheid ended in 1991, so anyone who was not over the age of majority in 1991 had no say in the matter. No one under the age of 45 bears responsibility for apartheid.

2.  To further complicate matters, Many whites were against apartheid. So now, among those over 45 only some are to blame

3.  While apartheid was a cruel system it is nothing like taking peoples property and giving them nothing, leaving them to live on the street, or outright murdering them (often with torture included). such a punishment goes way beyond one befitting the crime.

4.  And Even though apartheid was terrible, on average, blacks in SA had better lives than most blacks in other African countries run by blacks, which was why so many blacks tried to immigrate into south africa.  That doesn't excuse a terrible systen,  But it goes to show had there never been a south Africa, blacks in the area would have actually been worse off.



All that being said, the solution is the same

Get the whites out and let blacks own their own stuation, for better or worse

A whites only referendum was held when De Klerk was president to dismantle the remainders of apartheid. I believe 68 per cent  of white South Africans voted to end apartheid.

President Trump is putting a lid on refugee flows, and the left is dead certain that this is because of racism.  Asking to make an exception for white people is going to be called every nasty name under the sun, with special emphasis on those starting with R.



The fact that these refugees can be vetted, and that most of them will be fluent in English, skilled in agriculture, and immediately employable, will be dismissed.  Race is the only important characteristic they possess.



And here is where it will get to the kernel of truth among the opponents:



These refugee victims will be portrayed as victimizers themselves.  They are beneficiaries of centuries of racial division.  No doubt many will claim centuries of apartheid, even though that extreme doctrine of racial separation reigned in South Africa only from 1948 to 1991, 43 years.  They will be portrayed as continuing the injustice of white colonization (even though the major black tribes followed white settlers onto the land now called South Africa and, properly speaking, were also colonizers).



I suspect that it will get very ugly when news leaks out of South Africa of white farm families being murdered and their land taken over by political cronies – exactly what happened in Zimbabwe. It would not surprise me to see radical racialists celebrating these deaths, as other Americans plead for mercy and enlightenment for people culturally compatible with the United States' culture and first-world economy who face race-based persecution.

Barely heard anything.  I saw two articles on free republic and one on drudge.  And there was a short segment on Tucker Carlson with Mark Stein about it.  I haven't heard or seen any politician reference it.  Even today I googled "south Africa" and only 1/3 or so of the stories are about the land grab.



This will be a genocide in plain site, barely covered by the media, much like the genocide of Christians in the middleast.  If you want to get press you have to be one of the lefts favorite victim groups.

South Africa's parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of the amendment, (to tke away white farms with no compensation) 241-83, reported The Independent. The motion must now head to South Africa's Constitutional Review Committee for approval. Should the committee approve the proposal, a constitutional amendment would be drafted and voted on.



The vote was not put forward by Nelson Mandela's ruling ANC, but by the more radical party the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).



The EFF's leader, Julius Malema, has long been in favor of seizing the land owned by white farmers. When speaking about land redistribution, he promised that all he wanted was the farmer's land, saying he is "not calling for the slaughter of white people – at least for now."



Ahead of the historic vote, Malema said, "We must ensure that we restore the dignity of our people without compensating the criminals who stole our land."



South Africa's new president Cyril Ramaphosa didn't go that far, but gave his support to the measure. He had promised he would speed up the process of farmland redistribution during his inauguration a couple of weeks ago.



"We are going to address this and make sure that we come up with resolutions that resolve this once and for all," Ramaphosa said. "This original sin that was committed when our country was colonized must be resolved in a way that will take South Africa forward."



The president also promised that any redistribution would be done carefully, in order to avoid the sort of social, political and economic strife that arose after Zimbabwe seized the land owned by its white citizens.



"I will shortly initiate a dialogue with key stakeholders," Ramaphosa said. "There is no need for any one of us to panic and start beating war drums."

This is South Africas Kristallnacht moment.  so I hope the whites remaining there won't fall for the voices of seeming moderation, the only thing holding back genocide in SA is what happened in Zimbabwe, and even that may not hold for long.
