Similar with many Pakistani and Indian medical, engineering degrees. I sometimes scratch my head when encountering someone who informs me that the work they're doing is below them because they were such and such somewhere else or are only doing their current job until they get their Western MBA or Doctorate. One guy from East Africa calls himself a rocket scientist yet he's doing a two year technical school diploma on the side while he struggles with basic geometry at his job.
