We had a bright sunny day yesterday, then a thick, dark cloud bank moved in just on dusk and created some really cool effects with the setting sun.

One was a single beam of sunlight breaking through the cloud bank.

The other was sunlight through a number of "holes" in the clouds

The second one looks like the creator himself was about to address the sinners of South Australia.

Bricktop

Ah, he does it all the time.

We're over it.

I've had it with 'fun with sunlight' here in Van.  It's been damn near 35 all week, and this will continue into next week.

I'm fucking cooking in my cab at work, and can feel my really white skin burning.  It burns me out physically and mentally.

Some people hate the rain.  I like it!

That would be very uncomfortable in Vancouver..

Medicine Hat sometimes gets thirty five degrees, but there's little humidity there.

Most of our summer here is low humidity mid 30's. It's like a cool bath compared to the 40's which can happen for days or in some cases weeks depending on where you are. Where I go fishing every year is on the NSW and Victoria border and it's never below 40 degrees by 10 am.
Blahhhhhh...

Where is this locale of consistent scorching heat?
