We (at least those of us who believe it possible to learn from history) learned from the events of the 1930s that in dealing with authoritarian types who incite their followers to violence, the politics of appeasement only lead to the death camps and the ovens.  



As for the president's family, it is historically and presently a crime family that ought to be prosecuted under the RICO statute.  Those of us who care about America didn't pay the Trumps a lot of mind when Cheeto was selling blenders on reality TV, but now that he is lining his and their pockets from the public treasury, unchecked by a rogue congress, some of us have decided to come to the party.



EDIT to add:  moreover, it's a curious thing the way rightards are so concerned now about incivility from the left, following eight years of forbearance by Obama and his family in the still-unending barrage of racist hatred and threats they endured.

The question I have is-
