I can't help but laugh at the Victorian presser happening right now...



7 day "circuit breaker" and repeated pleas for all eligible to get "vaccinated" to stop the spread, even lowering the age to 40 and over (Pfizer) and elderly (AstraZeneca)...



They aren't vaccines since they don't prevent infection or transmission and even if they did, it would take weeks and with Pfizer, a second shot, before any fucking perceived benefits would materialise.



So disingenuous... and a bullshit panic merchant ploy to inject people with experimentals... on top of that, AstraZeneca has been reserved for the elderly in a triage scenario and they're no less likely to develop DVT and other disorders, but they are expendable...



These cocksuckers in Victorian government are power junkies.

Some are so adversely affected that they think vaccines that prevent infection (and reduce symptoms) great don't prevent infection



They need to stand on their heads a few hours a week to get the brain functioning correctly

U.K.'s full reopening plan could be jeopardized by spread of B.1.617.2 variant



A coronavirus variant first found in India is spreading across Britain and it is too soon to say whether COVID-19 restrictions can be fully lifted on June 21, health minister Matt Hancock said on Thursday.



Prime Minister Boris Johnson has laid out a roadmap out of lockdown for England, but has warned that the rapidly spreading B.1.617.2 variant poses a risk to that plan.



"The Indian variant is spreading across the country," Hancock told parliament. "My assessment is that it is too early now to say, yet, whether we can take the full step four (of the reopening plan) on the 21st of June.



The B.1.617.2 variant of concern is thought to spread more rapidly than the previously dominant B.1.1.7 "Kent" variant, although vaccines still offer protection against severe disease.



On Saturday, Public Health England (PHE) said two shots of COVID-19 vaccine were almost as effective against B.1.617.2 as they were against the Kent variant, which Hancock said at the time increased his confidence that restrictions would be lifted next month.

They'd best get hurrying  ... with numbers down steadily from 70,000 / day  in January when vaccinations started .. to less than 2,000 recently  it's reversing slowly now



with some opening up recently here's last 5 days of new cases with today at top
