When one thinks about it timewise, one could say that for Ottawa. - Provinces all were openly moving toward opening up while  they were busy clogging Ottawa - they were too busy honking to listen

Alberta had 473 cases today and the province surpassed four thousand deaths since the pandemic started..



Hospitalizations and ICU were both down.

Further, although BA.2 sequences are increasing in proportion relative to other omicron sublineages (BA.1 and BA.1.1), there is still a reported decline in overall cases globally," it wrote.



According to New York State health department data, BA.2 is doubling in proportion statewide every two weeks and represents about one in 10 sequenced cases.



During the past week 82.7% of omicron sequences were lineage BA.1.1.529, and 17.3% were BA.2," the state reported.

It varies place to place. White 30 - 40 % more transmissible, and found in every state and province (to varying degrees) at this time no one knows if it will take over



It's ability or inability to penetrate those vaccinated is unknown today, that ability or inability to do so will determine its "success"  This  will be known soon as much study is being done in many countries and here also





Meantime, while we are on the low side at this moment in time, Europe is exploding again

Hospitalization have fallen below one thousand and the number of people in ICU is down to seventy three.



New Brunswick has lifted all mandates and restrictions.
