 I couldn't even talk for two months. I had some bad injuries (a gash on the back of my head from hitting a sink, other injuries in places I don't want to get into) and could have gone septic. 3 days after I ended up in the hospital for about 2 weeks.

 And then the state removed me from my family and put me in psych hospitals for the next two years. They thought my mother's husband attacked me.

 I was mostly traumatized by the violence and how dehumanizing it was. I really didn't think I was going to live. I was convinced they were going to kill me.

 I was able to come home to my grandmother's on passes little by little until I was close to 17 and was released. My grandmother raised me.

 I hate when people just say they have PTSD and they list off a ton of other shit and non of it is diagnosed. Its like....trust me, PTSD is bad enough. It impacts far more than just your anxiety levels.

 Substance abuse is very common amongst our kind lol.
