The House of Representatives recently passed a bill proposed by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to reduce Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg's salary to $1, citing his extravagant trips and a past incident where he pretended to ride a bike to receive an award.

The bill is unlikely to be approved by the Senate.

I've got my fingers crossed for it for sure. This election cycle has been one of the more entertaining I can remember. In fact scratch that - it is THE most entertaining I can remember. Were Trump to pick someone not even on the debate stage as his VP, the tears shed would be ineffably salty and delicious.
