President  Trump signed an executive order and a memorandum on March 1 aimed at boosting the U.S. lumber industry, addressing what White House officials called a crisis in both supply and demand.

The executive order, titled "Freeing Our Forest," directs the heads of federal agencies to reverse federal policies and propose ways to expedite and increase domestic timber and lumber production. The increased timber production will be directly tied to an improvement in land management, according to the White House. The memorandum will focus on demand, directing Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to launch an investigation into the possible harm done to national security by importing lumber.

"Our disastrous timber and lumber policies, a legacy of the previous administration, trigger wildfires and degrade our fish and wildlife habitat," said Peter Navarro, senior counselor on trade and manufacturing. "They drive up construction and housing costs and impoverish America through large trade deficits that result from exporters like Canada, Germany, and Brazil dumping lumber into our markets at the expense of both our economic prosperity and national security. That stops today."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the new U.S. health secretary, said that a measles outbreak in western Texas that has infected more than 100 people and led to one death is a "top priority" for his agency and said that vaccines will be provided.

"Ending the measles outbreak is a top priority for me and my extraordinary team," Kennedy said in a post on social media platform X on Feb. 28. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is sending Texas 2,000 doses of the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine through its immunization program, Kennedy said.

HHS will also provide "lab support to better track the virus causing the outbreak," will communicate "with public health officials every day in all affected areas to support their response and ensure they have the resources they need," and provide communications to local communities in Low German—the language used by Mennonites. "We will continue to fund Texas' immunization program," Kennedy wrote.

The CHIPs Act Jim Crow Joe signed was a waste of taxpayer. Taiwan Semiconductor announced they will invest $100 billion in the US to make chips in the US.

Honda will reportedly manufacture the next-generation Civic in Indiana. That's a change of plans for the company, which had been planning to manufacture the vehicle in Mexico. The move comes following Donald Trump's levying of 25% tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada.

JD Vance said that while the Trump administration has made great progress in undoing the damage from the border crisis that was caused by the Biden-Harris administration, "Rome wasn't built in a day."

"President Biden gutted the entire immigration enforcement machine of this country. We are trying to rebuild so that we actually empower people to enforce the immigration laws. ... It is common sense. It's what the American people want us to do."

Speaking to reporters, Trump said he wanted to convince Russia and China to eliminate their nuclear arsenals, calling them extremely dangerous and deterrent weapons.

"It would be great if everybody would get rid of their nuclear weapons. I know Russia and us have by far the most. China will have an equal amount within 4-5 years. It would be great if we could all denuclearize because the power of nuclear weapons is crazy," he said.

His comments come as global powers continue to modernize and expand their nuclear arsenals.

Back in February, Donald Trump had already expressed frustration over the billions of dollars spent on nuclear deterrence.

Unlike past presidents, I believe Trump genuinely wants to eliminate nuclear stockpiles. He will never accomplish that.

Trump announced Friday that he is rolling out the red carpet for South African farmers and reiterated that the U.S. is cutting off funding to the socialist-led nation.

Without specifying that they need to be Afrikaners, who are also called Boers, Trump invited South African farmers worried about their safety to come with their families to the United States in a Friday Truth Social post, noting that they will enjoy a "rapid pathway to Citizenship" — a process that "will begin immediately."

Cyril Ramaphosa, South Africa's socialist president, ratified legislation on Jan. 25 enabling the government to seize land without compensation in the name of the "public interest."

Trump signed a memo on Thursday requesting federal judges impose financial penalties on "activist groups" who file "meritless" lawsuits against the government.

The administration fact sheet for the memo "President Donald J. Trump Ensures the Enforcement of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(C)" requires financial guarantees from plaintiffs requesting preliminary injections and temporary restraining orders "where the government can demonstrate monetary harm from the requested relief."

"This ensures coverage of potential costs or losses if the court later deems an injunction wrongly issued," it stated.

I'm surprised it took this long for those jungle bunnies to finally admit that they hate whites.  Mandela should be dug up and symbolically lynched.

Trump is not owned by the military-industrial-complex like every president before him was.

Scott Turner's swift action at HUD to reverse Biden-era rules could help lower housing costs and bring the American dream back within reach for millions.

Scott Turner, the former Texas state representative and new Housing and Urban Development secretary, sailed through confirmation last month. He has moved swiftly to reverse troubling Biden-era regulations, such as the 2021 Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rule, effectively a zoning tax that drove up housing costs.

Trump should target tariffs towards countries and economic sectors that do not have an equal trading relationship with America.

The U.S. Department of Education is laying off 1,315 employees, about half its workforce, within 90 days as part of its ongoing cost-saving measures. The staff reduction addresses redundancies in the communications, human resources, information technology, and other offices within the department, according to a senior official.

The affected workers were to be notified via email at 6 p.m. on March 11. The Washington, D.C., office will be closed on March 12 for safety protocols, and the senior official said the workers are expected to work remotely with full pay and benefits through March 21. They will then be placed on administrative leave, with pay, through June 9.

The laid-off staffers will be awarded severance payments based on their years of service, with the most senior members receiving up to 20 weeks of salary. The agency said about 600 of its 4,133 employees have already agreed to leave voluntarily, including 313 who accepted $25,000 buyout offers last week.

Ukraine has agreed to enter into a 30-day cease-fire with Russia as a means of kickstarting further talks to end the war. The United States responded by resuming military assistance to Ukraine. Delegations from Washington and Kyiv shared a joint statement on March 11 announcing the proposed 30-day pause in the fighting, after concluding a lengthy round of discussions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

While the Jeddah plan calls for an initial 30-day halt to the fighting, Russia and Ukraine could agree to extend this temporary cease-fire as they work toward a more lasting peace agreement. It remains to be seen how Moscow will respond to the proposed cease-fire and other developments out of Jeddah.

"We'll take this offer now to the Russians and we hope that they'll say yes," Secretary of State Marco Rubio said. Following the Jeddah talks, the U.S. and Ukrainian delegations announced the United States would lift its hold on intelligence sharing with Ukraine and resume security assistance.
