Amen.

Everyone had that album too. Yep it was dumb and silly and we loved it. My babies loved it too lol.

I had completely forgotten this song even existed and it was oddly playing in CVS yesterday lol.
That is one of their better songs.

I don't know much about this band. Stumbled across this song several minutes ago. They were formed 1989 in Raleigh, NC and had a #1 hit with this number in 1993. I  gotta say I like 'em. I like 'em a lot:

Amen.

The Stone Temple Pilots were formed in 1989 and the original band remained intact until lead vocalist Scott Weiland was fired in 2013 due to his persistent substance abuse problems. During the 90s, however, they sold a shitload o' records. This song went to #1 in 1994:

Amen.

Scott Weiland was a good singer.

Yes, he was. But he was evidently unable to ever get his Jones under control. Velvet Revolver fired him in 2008, due to his Jones which ultimately killed him.

I have listened to The Cult for a long time. A Limey band, they were formed all the way back in 1983. The heart and soul of the band is vocalist Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy. This wasn't one of their biggest hits, but no worries. It's really good, due in large part to Astbury's distinctive voice IMHO:

They had some rockers like this one.

Quite some time ago, I saw Faith No More play this song on a TV show whose name I have long since forgotten. As they began playing, I do recall thinking , 'What the HELL?'  Beyond that, I don't know dick about 'em. Wiki says they were formed in 1979 and they have sold a decent amount of records over the years. They're currently on hiatus. Anyway, here we go:

In their early shit, Ian Astbury looked like a fruit punk rocker.

I noticed his appearance has evolved somewhat over the years. For what it's worth, his current wife Aimee Nash is in a band called Black Ryder. I'd never heard of 'em.

They were among the genesis of the hip hop/metal mix along with the Beastie Boys.
