I can't say as I blame them. Unfortunately that is the reality of this world and we have allowed to grow and flourish.


I understand but I also know that some are still not comfortable with owning a firearm.


Then don't own one...It's that simple and it's probably the wiser course of action for those who do not like the idea of owning a gun...In the US, those that are uncomfortable with firearms ownership are free to find an alternate legal means to defend themselves, unlike other so-called civilized western nations that have the temerity to look down their noses at us while leaving their citizens defenseless in the face of two legged predators...Where even the carrying of a bottle opener or a pointed stick will land you in front of a political hack, otherwise known as a judge.

Good luck dialing in a load that is consistent. I tried my hand at it for a short while. It's almost as frustrating as trying to herd cats.

The problem you are facing in Canada is that you the citizen, have NO legal right to own a firearm...Your government grants you not rights but privileges and those privileges can be taken away or suspended at any time and you have virtually no legal recourse to fight it...Just like in Australia your government can manufacture a public emergency in the wake of some loon running amok and make criminals out of law abiding citizens simply for owning a scary looking gun and there is NOTHING you can do about it.
