To be fair, it might be more accurate to say "expectation" rather than "prediction"

January would be an unexpected and pleasant surprise.

WOW. The US is out of control .. today 132,540 reported cases

Maybe deceased democrats are catching it and self-reporting    :sneaky2:

All of N America & Europe are growing scary fast .. most states, countries and provinces ~ doubling new cases in past 2 weeks

If France had the same population as the US, they would have 300k a day.

That is true. I didn't do it proportionally as it was the "increasing" element I was demonstrating .. but several are as bad and some are many times the per person rate of the US

I know. I am still trying to get an antibodies test. How are things going in your search out West?

Seems the promised tests have disappeared from the face of the earth.

It was some time ago that  Ottawa made the big announcement  .. since, it's crickets

If you hear anything, post it. I will do the same.

cc

Oh yes, will do.

Wow. When compared to others on that list with the population difference factored in, "cases per person" Canada, BC & Alta are far lower than  others
I really tried to warn y\'all in 49  .. G. Orwell

Damn,  again. Alberta added 917 new cases (up dramatically) today & 5 new deaths on Saturday

Alta is going back to reporting on weekends

BC also reported 567 for Saturday

BC started much stricter requirements as of 10 pm last night

(List of previous week's cases showing how rapid the increases are for several countries, BC & Alta are on previous page)

----------------

Ontario way up to 1,328 today - Quebec up to almost 1,400 today

The idea of a circuit breaker' lockdown is being floated in Alberta..

That is a two week hard lockdown.

It doesn't say for how long..

My brother lives in Manitoba and so do IHJ and Thiel.

WINNIPEG — The Manitoba government is forcing non-essential stores to close and banning social gatherings in an effort to stop a surge of COVID-19 cases.

Starting Thursday, non-essential retail outlets will be limited to curbside pickup and delivery, and churches will not have in-person gatherings.

Social gatherings with anyone other than household members will be forbidden, and restaurants, museums, theatres and recreational activities must close.

Schools will remain open as the province's chief public health officer says officials are not seeing much transmission within schools.

Premier Brian Pallister says the province is at a critical point in its fight against the virus.

Manitoba leads all other provinces in per-capita active cases.
