Don't know why we're lacking a 1980's song thread, but we're fixing that. Lotsa good music came outta that decade.

Huey Lewis & the News had a great run of hits and popularity, but my favorite song by them wasn't a big one. Well, it only goes to show - the chart makers don't know everything:

These guys certainly had a hot streak.  I broke down and bought their "Combat Rock" album years ago and it was primarily because it had this song:

I was never a Clash fan or a punk fan. This song is alright.
