@realAzhyaAryola

The Barramundi from Australia (but also found in Asia) has an unforgetable flavor and consistency.

Speaking of fish, what are your fave types of fish for fish and chips? Halibut and basa for me.

@realAzhyaAryola

I am such a fan of fish that I hardly ever like it covered in batter but grilled or broiled to perfection. This is why I am not such a fan of fish n chips. I snob  that British fave, hehe.

As you were. ac_biggrin

True, a real fish lover would never dream of drowing a filet in batter.

Once or twice a year I will have a feed of fish and chips. Usually it is haddock or halibut.

Once in a while I will buy basa and pan fry them with my own crispy garlic coating..

Less calories than deep frying and a thick batter.

There's an old food truck in Kenora that sells fresh pickerel caught from Lake of the Woods with handcut fries. It is mouthwatering.

Mac N Cheese

Only halibut. I do not like any fish with a strong fish taste.
