Chili Lime Garlic wings

From Sam the Cooking Guy on youtube. Very tasty.

I found the video, think I'm gonna try that, but I'm gonna prepare a good 50 wings LOL

The lime, garlic and adobo sauce was the bomb for sure. Surprisingly not much heat from the adobo. Next time I think we will add a couple of the peppers from the chipotle can and blend it in with all the ingredients. Check out his birria taco/burrito videos. Very good.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

Adobo aint spicy.

By itself, you're right. The canned chipotle peppers are packed in the adobo sauce and it usually has heat from them. We use it quite a bit and this was the mildest it has ever been.

Ya, that would make it spicy.

Had Chicken Kiev, steamed cauliflower, fried onions, and mashed potatoes for a late afternoon dinner.

Haven't bought the chicken Kievs for months now since they changed the name and were making a donation to the Ukrainians for every breaded chicken parcel.

Fuck the corrupt Ukraine and fuck corporate activism..
Blahhhhhh...

Did this Tamale pie yesterday. Pressure cooked the pork roast in the instant pot. Wife came home and did the cornbread. She doubled the recipe for some reason. There really is a lot of shredded pork in there. Next time we will know better. Otherwise this was really really good. Flavors were awesome.

Things kind of bubbled over because of so much cornbread but the brown crust on top really added to the flavor and texture.

You substituted corn bread for Bisquick. I never had a pie with corn bread. I like corn bread, so I know it would be really good.

Corn bread is usually a little bit sweet isn't it?

Montana's restaurants has a piece of corn bread with each meal ordered.

It's a little bit sweet.....maybe a little more than banana bread.
