Sorry but the actions of the president's opponents are not the topic I'm replying to, and I don't think they've gone too far at all.  The president's opponents, which is to say over seventy percent of the country, are just starting to get rowdy with him.

 Its not over seventy percent of the country, Rasmussen has Trumps approval in the 45% to 50% range which is higher than Obama had at this point in his presidency.

His supporters have copied nothing, and it is they who have brought the violence and hate into the political arena with his encouragement.  

That's not correct at all based on the facts.  there may have been a small handful of trump people (if even that many) who did violent things, but the overwhelming amount of threats and violence has come from the left, and not just from lone kooks, but celebrities, elected officials, liberal editorialists, college professors. I would have to fill up ten posts to cover it all. its stunning, I've never seen anything like it in my lifetime

So you didn't blame media for the shooting but you blame them for "lying" when they describe his actual words and deeds?

I blamed them for attributing the motive of the shooter to being influenced by what trump said, when there is no evidence whatsoever of that being the case. Lets compare--multiple leftist celebrities and VIPS have advocated trump's assassination, --madonna, kathy griffin, snoop dogg, Sean Penn, Johnny Depp, Charlie Sheen, The entire NYC production of Julius Caesar in the park, Democratic state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal,  Mickey Rourke (hitting trump with a baseball bat), Jim Carrey (beating trump with a golf club) Robert De Niro (Punching trump), not to mention threats against Trumps children and grandchildren (peter fonda among others)



Other than Milo (who should be shunned for it), no one on the trump side has called for the media to be harmed. So once again we see the left is far more irresponsible with their rhetoric than Trump and his supporters.

We (at least those of us who believe it possible to learn from history) learned from the events of the 1930s that in dealing with authoritarian types who incite their followers to violence, the politics of appeasement only lead to the death camps and the ovens.  



As for the president's family, it is historically and presently a crime family that ought to be prosecuted under the RICO statute.  Those of us who care about America didn't pay the Trumps a lot of mind when Cheeto was selling blenders on reality TV, but now that he is lining his and their pockets from the public treasury, unchecked by a rogue congress, some of us have decided to come to the party.
