Quote from: "Guest"One in three US rentals were still unpaid as of the 5th of April, double the figure for the same period last year.

It is like that all over the developed world.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. And it's the only reason why I suspect a few governments are going to attempt lift the whole lockdown shtick and its attendant social distancing bullshit too and take their chances with the uptick of cases.

Shit, it's barely been a month and look at the result.

Israel is under a lock down too and unemployment has risen to 25 per cent. There has to be a better way of handling the spread of this virus than forcing a global depression that kills more people than COVID-19.

And in the background you see a nice kitchen, perfectly painted walls etc.

They dont seem to get that when you are poor, you cannot afford a certain lifestyle.
People in some parts of Asia have to go through with no hot shower and toilet paper. Over here people are depressed about not getting fast enough internet to stream their Netflix in 4K.

Not in Japan, South Korea, Macau, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore or most of the Eastern part of China..

Not, really in Malaysia either.

Security guard is a minimum wage job in Canada. He will make almost as much on EI as he would working that job.

My friend is a security guard at a movie studio. He makes less than $16can. Such garbage pay. He likes doing nothing all day though.

Those people get shit pay, but then again, they are not properly trained.  They are just an employee with a security uniform on and nothing more.  I've seen a few overweight ones here and there...like, how do they run?  Or physically move if security is actually needed?
