Joe must be really hard up. Serves him right for not working and saving when he was young.

My brother retired to a lakeside town outside Guadalajara and he loves it. Everything is way cheaper and there are entire communities of American retirees. Good weather and everyone speaks English too.

I've been to Mexico but didn't care for it that much.
esp Not to live for any extended period of time.

Seems there's a good swathe of the population  who don't like Gringos either:

You gotta point Zetsu.

I think many of these places might be good for a visit...

....but not live there for any extended period of time.

Also, health standards may be problematic in them as well.

Ie - Mexico still has bad water that a person can't drink out of a tap.

And yet, I have no intention of buying property in Vancouver either. $100,000 for a parking space? Good grief.

Take a look:

While I could afford a 1 small 1 BR condo in DT Vancouver, I figger -[why bother? Whatta gyp.

People from your part of the world have hoarded all the land in my city, driving up land prices & exacerbating our homeless problem. And this isn't just Vancouver, but other Canadian cities as well.

I think the French in France have complained about this problem in their country too.

The USA is right to keep on eye on Chinese and keep them out because they'd do the same thing to America if they haven't in some American cities already.

Chinese = Land Hoarders imho

That's why I support a Land Hoarding Tax as other countries have begun to adopt.

and that's not socialism either because they are trying to create a free and open market as they can. It's the same in principle as capitalist  entities such as Best Buy or Macy's having a sale and putting up a sign stating 'Limit - 5 per customer'. If they do it to their own customers, then we should do it to the land hoarders too

Joe has been saying he'll save up and start this investment at retirement age while he's better off surrendering his virginity or pay a visit to the closest homeless shelter.

He is a senior citizen asking strangers for investment advice. A little late for that now.

I don't like the idea of people hoarding all the homes too, but at the same time no one is pointing a gun at you and saying you must live in Vancouver, if you want the best of the best, then expect to pay up like a man Joe.
