Multiculturalism pretty much exists the world over these days...that's just obvious.

Australia being the leaders in this friendly exchange of culture.

True...the Eastern countries have way more stricter immigration policies. Australia is still part of the Asia-Pacific though.

True, Taiwan is not pursuing a policy of multiculturalism.

Not necessarily a bad thing, especially given it's small size.

Small countries in Europe made a huge mistake admitting large numbers of people they could not possibly assimilate.

Is this how the "greatness" of a country is defined?

Perhaps, seeing as how you're an  advocate of multi-culti, you could offer a more substantial argument for its adoption.

Nobody in Taiwan seriously talks about changing the Chineseness of the island.

How many muslims have immigrated to Taiwan in the last 10 years?

If Roberto was actually gay, would he find a symbol of an ideology that would kill him if given the chance "great"? That would be like a Jew being happy seeing cops wearing swastikas on their uniform.

Ah, but it is the mark of the left that enables them to ignore reality, preferring ideology and fantasy. This is the same ideology that gave rise to the workers' paradise that is communism, as well as the idiocy of feminism and of course, global warming.

What they fail to grasp is the those that oppose their stupidity do not oppose their principles. It would be wonderful to live in a harmonious world where all races, creeds, cultures and even religions could co-exist in tranquil comaradery. Its important to clean up the environment and stop poisoning it in a variety of ways. Every man and woman should be considered equal.

They love to quote Martin Luther King, and his famous dream.

But it was just a dream. Humans are not typically bound by dreams, or ideals, or noble sociological concepts of living in concord and solidarity. Humans tend to live in a real world, which sadly contains a diorama of incompatibilities. We simply have not yet evolved to a state where religion is abandoned, where political power is genuinely held by the masses, where cultures are reconcilable and co-operative. They want muslims to be accepted amongst us whilst ignoring the malice that they harbour for us. This malice is, apparently, our fault.

This is the fallacy of leftism. It ignores truism.

We have thousands of guest workers mostly from Indonesia, but also Pakistan..

Immigrate and become citizens of the Republic of China?

That is nearly impossible.
