Yellow Vests in France forced Macron to back down on raising fuel taxes. Justine is more "pig headed" than Macron, but they hope to force a concession.

I have been checking their social media and it fits. In Alberta and Saskatchewan, they got their way. I think every province has an end game plan for passports and restrictions. They should be doing a victory lap, but they are not.



From the messages I'm seeing, Trudeau himself is the actual target of all the protests, not COVID restrictions. One Liberal MP broke ranks, so another small victory.

Hell ya. It has moved well beyond vaccine mandates for truckers. I want them to stay in Ottawa and push for things like a freeze on Justine's carbon tax.

It did need swift / instant action. The Feds are looking lamer every hour that goes by  .. not from the message (whatever it really is)

rather, because they have let these bullies   taste a bit of power ..

That's how bullies work ... they win a small battle, they feel more power and escalate the bullying



Every hour that goes by makes Feds final job harder & encourages escalation in the meantime



 and that increases every hour  .. making the eventual cleanup more and more difficult as each hour goes by  ..

The Feds by not acting decisively quickly,  have likely set up a very ugly ending

Most Provinces had planned for a long time easing up and are doing so .. yet no acknowledgement from the self-proclaimed mandate protestors  .. not even a hint (making the whole thing a very bad joke on them .. if indeed that was the initial motive)



If what they proclaimed was genuine. they would change tune  .. happy danced .. and spoken on this .. They have  not changed a teeny bit nor even hinted at what Provinces are doing



Making me ask .. "What is the  motive?"  ... as it seems to be  not what they have proclaimed??

Trudeau linked the protesters with hateful and racist movements and has refused to meet with them or send representatives to hear their concerns. That backfired. Another MP, Yves Robillard has come out in support of fellow Liberal MP Joel Lightbound's comments, He says more Liberal MP's agree.



The Trudeau government's handling of this has been a disaster. A poll by Leger conducted between Feb. 4 and Feb. 6 showed that more than 40 percent of Canadians believe that the prime minister and provincial premiers share the blame for the ongoing truckers' protest in Ottawa because of their "condescending attitude" toward Canadians who oppose COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.
