Detroit was a spinoff of The Detroit Wheels which included the superb singer, Mitch Ryder. They did this one album which included a cover of Lou Reed's Rock and Roll.  It frequently appears on my playlists:


This is the Lou Reed original which, honestly, I don't care for.  FYI, The Velvet Underground was Reed's old band. More on that at another time:

Formed in 1968, Nazareth is a Scottish band that's been in bidness for well over fiddy years. I saw 'em live years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their long time lead singer Dan McCafferty passed away November 8, 2022, but they're still plugging along. This song has been covered by many, but Nazareth's has been the most successful:

Dan McCafferty is dead. I saw them in Germany twenty some years ago while working abroad. The original drummer was dead, but McCafferty was singing and still had the pipes.
