Even alleged capitalist/libertarian experiments like Argentina can't austerity their way to prosperity (a lovely little contradiction in terms, innit) and need 60 billion dollars (20 billion from the IMF followed by 40 billion from Trump) to stave off disaster while nations labeled "socialist" or "communist" like Cuba and Venezuela continue to function despite years or decades of severe sanctions, blockades, weaponized propaganda, and both military and covert interventionist projects.

Objectively it's clear which systems are resilient and which are frangible.

All things considered Blandy's transformation was the biggest disappointment of all my BF experiences. My recent ban isn't even a close second.

I used to believe that too. Now, I think the free enterprise system is the best way to achieve socialism.

It is not that I trust every Paki Tim Horton's owner of 10 stores who uses fraud to cheat the TFW program. But, would the service better if Carney's appointees had total control over small businesses? Would the sandwiches and coffee be cheaper and taste better? I doubt it.

Either state ownership or private enterprise people are going to be exploited. It is up to every individual which is the lesser of the two evils.
