 The night my grandma died, after I had spent months caring for her as she died of cancer at home on hospice, on my way home this song came on the radio and it had me crying so hard I had to pull over and I just cried on the side of the road for like an hour. I had never felt a song so hard before in my life.

 I know it's technically a "break up" song but not for me.  I was just shattered. I was only 21 and lost the only real parent I ever had.  This song  can throw back into that grief even 20 plus years later.

 So I mostly avoid it lol

I can't remember if I've previously posted this and I'm too fookin' lazy to check. So, if it's a redundant post, you'll just have to get over it - I'll be a man and accept my punishment of Shen twerking on my face while wearing a fireman's helmet, bullet brassiere, chaps and roller skates.

As for this song, it's by a Scottish band formed in 1987. They've had a good measure of success not just in their native country, but across Europe as well. They even went on tour with the Stones. "Better Days" is their only song to chart in the USA. It's damn good:
