They sell them through a few few brick and mortar stores in Edmonton besides online.

Here in England this sort of clothing is often worn during 'summertime'.

If it's a brand thing then not much you can do about it. If it's just a down filled coat then y'all are getting ripped off. You can get a better deal elsewhere. This is only one place.

Because of the excellent insulating properties of the down feathers.

Down is the soft under plumage (a layer of insulation underneath feathers) that geese, ducks and other waterfowl have to keep them warm and dry. Feathers have hard quills, down does not. A down "cluster" is soft and fluffy and will have many filaments growing in all directions. A down cluster looks like this:

A week at an all inclusive beach front resort in the Caribbean is cheaper.

A week at an all inclusive beach front resort in the Caribbean is cheaper.

When you put it like that, buying one of those jackets seems a lot less of a good idea.

When you put it like that, buying one of those jackets seems a lot less of a good idea.  

But, after a week at a resort in the Caribbean, you still need a warm coat, especially in Winnipeg where iron horse jockey lives.
