So, if it's a redundant post, you'll just have to get over it - I'll be a man and accept my punishment of Shen twerking on my face while wearing a fireman's helmet, bullet brassiere, chaps and roller skates.

As for this song, it's by a Scottish band formed in 1987. They've had a good measure of success not just in their native country, but across Europe as well. They even went on tour with the Stones. "Better Days" is their only song to chart in the USA. It's damn good:

I gather they weren't together long?
too old to be a fashionista

Actually formosan, despite personnel changes over the years, they are still in business:

That's a compliment.

I'm hearing a bit of Sebastian Bach from Skid Row.

Los Lobos hails from East L.A.  Formed in 1973, their first major label album was released in 1984. When I first heard this song, it was so good I had to go out and buy the album. Oddly, it didn't chart here in the States; in fact, the only place it charted was in the U.K. at 57. Oh well. They've had a great career, are still together and have won four Grammies:

The late David Wayne's falsetto vocals are very powerful and rival Rob Halford and Ronnie James Dio regarding range and how they suit the music.

Herman

Triumph is one of my best Canadian bands of all time. They are on the fiftieth anniversary tour.
This is from Never Surrender.

Formed 1974 in jackasssonville, Florida, 38 Special is one of the premier Southern Rock bands. I've seen them live twice and they're still touring and recording, although co-founder Donnie Van Zant had to retire due to health reasons. For those of you who may not know, Donnie is the middle brother of Ronnie and Johnny Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd fame.

This is one of their classics:

That band continues to tour with that name but they are a tribute band.

To varying extents, most of the older bands have had personnel changes as time goes by. I don't know if there's a hard and fast line beyond which a band becomes a tribute band. Take Molly Hatchet, for example. They're still touring although all original members are deceased. 38 Special was formed by Van Zant and Don Barnes. Van Zant is retired, but Barnes is still in the band, going strong.

38 Special aint the worst offenders. Take Skynyrd, no original members. Because Ronnie's widow is such a greedy cunt they did not even have  Artimus Pyle in the band. He is the only surviving member from Ronnie Van Zant era. He was in the 1977 plane crash. He is in his late seventies and tours with Skynyrd tribute band.
